1. Гондурас – Honduras, officially the Republic of Honduras, is a republic in Central America. It has at times referred to as Spanish Honduras to differentiate it from British Honduras. Honduras was home to several important Mesoamerican cultures, most notably the Maya, the Spanish introduced Roman Catholicism and the now predominant Spanish language, along with numerous customs that have blended with the indigenous culture. Honduras has the worlds highest murder rate, Honduras spans about 112,492 km2 and has a population exceeding 8 million. Its northern portions are part of the Western Caribbean Zone, as reflected in the areas demographics and culture. Honduras is known for its natural resources, including minerals, coffee, tropical fruit, and sugar cane, as well as for its growing textiles industry. Honduras literally means depths in Spanish, the name could either refer to the bay of Trujillo as an anchorage, fondura in the Leonese dialect of Spanish, or to Columbuss alleged quote that Gracias a Dios que hemos salido de esas Honduras. It was not until the end of the 16th century that Honduras was used for the whole province, prior to 1580, Honduras only referred to the eastern part of the province, and Higueras referred to the western part. Another early name is Guaymuras, revived as the name for the dialogue in 2009 that took place in Honduras as opposed to Costa Rica. In pre-Columbian times, modern Honduras was part of the Mesoamerican cultural area, in the west, the Maya civilization flourished for hundreds of years. The dominant state within Hondurass borders was in Copán, Copán fell with the other Lowland centres during the conflagrations of the Terminal Classic in the 9th century. The Maya of this civilization survive in western Honduras as the Chorti, remains of other Pre-Columbian cultures are found throughout the country. On 30 July 1502 Columbus sent his brother Bartholomew to explore the islands and Bartholomew encountered a Mayan trading vessel from Yucatán, carrying well-dressed Maya and a rich cargo. Bartholomews men stole whatever cargo they wanted and kidnapped the elderly captain to serve as an interpreter in what was the first recorded encounter between the Spanish and the Maya. In March 1524, Gil González Dávila became the first Spaniard to enter Honduras as a conquistador, followed by Hernán Cortés, bringing forces down from Mexico. Much of the conquest was done in the two decades, first by groups loyal to Cristóbal de Olid, and then by those loyal of Francisco Montejo. In addition to Spanish resources, the conquerors relied heavily on armed forces from Mexico—Tlaxcalans, resistance to conquest was led in particular by Lempira, and many regions in the north never fell to the Spanish, notably the Miskito Kingdom. After the Spanish conquest, Honduras became part of Spains vast empire in the New World within the Kingdom of Guatemala, Trujillo and Gracias were the first city-capitals

The city grew slowly from about 800 residents in 1590, to almost 10,000 by the 1890s, but most of this population growth took place in the 19th century. Zemurray worked closely with local elites who invested in enterprises and thus shaped the way politically for Cuyamel to establish itself and. The problems are exacerbated by organised crime, whose rules prevent residents from safely leaving gang-controlled neighbourhoods such as Chamelecón for jobs in other parts of town. In 2000, then-Mayor Roberto Larios Silva said San Pedro Sula is where the development of the country is concentrated via the citys industrial, commercial and financial development. The then-manager of Hotel Copantl attributed its growth in business-related tourism, as of 2011, San Pedro Sula generates two-thirds of the countrys gross domestic product. San Pedro Sula was the capital of the world until early 2016 when Caracas. Since the 2009 Honduran military coup unemployment and underemployment rates have doubled while the number of living in extreme poverty has skyrocketed. In 2013, the city had 187 homicides per 100,000 residents and this surpassed Ciudad Juarez, Mexicos rate of 148 killings per 100,000, or an average of about three homicides per day, Ciudad Juarez had previously topped the list for three consecutive years. Both cities are major operational and strategic points in the illegal drug trade, particularly to the United States. In response, authorities launched Operation Lightning, saturating violence hotspots with police, meanwhile, arms trafficking has flooded the country, with just under 70% of all firearms being illegal. 83% of homicides in the city involve firearms and their ranks are fed by the disastrous economy of Honduras, and emboldened more recently by alliances with Mexican drug traffickers moving cocaine through the country. Crime and economic stress have led to the migration of numbers of unaccompanied minors to the US border. The latest data from the CBP shows San Pedro Sula as the source for Unaccompanied Alien Children migrating from Honduras. San Pedro Sula features a tropical climate, with year-round relatively high temperatures. San Pedro Sula has experienced hurricanes and tropical storms and is prone to them during the season usually when the storms form in the southern part of the Caribbean or Western Africa. San Pedro Sula, as most cities built under the Spanish colonial period, is divided in quadrants, avenues in the city run from North to South and Streets run from East to West

They are the only Honduran club that has won the CONCACAF Champions Cup twice, first in 1972, Olimpia is also the first team to win the Domestic Cup, known as Copa Presidente, in 2015. The following year the team repeated, beating teams, Independiente de San Pedro Sula, Tela Railroad, CD Honduras, in 1959, Olimpia won the tri-national championship. In the subsequent two years, Olimpia continued its dominance both at departmental and national levels, players like Furia Solis, Rolin Castillo, Ricardo Chendo Rodriguez and others became fixtures. For the 1963–64 School Sports Federation tournament changed and became a Regional tournament in which teams would be eliminated by zone, on December 14,1963, Olimpia defeated Chorotega of Choluteca 10–0 and Amapala Liberia 3–2. The national championships sponsored by the Sports Federation-School ended with the 1964 season –65, under the guidance of Brazilian Marinho Rodriguez, CD Olimpia played the final with the newly founded Platense of Puerto Cortés. The first match of this series ended with a 1–0 victory. Then in the game, both teams tied at zero goals apiece. 5. Апертура и Клаусура – Apertura and Clausura are the Spanish words for opening and closing. In French-speaking Haiti, these are known as the Ouverture and the Fermeture, while in English-speaking Belize, they are respectively the Opening and Closing seasons. The North American Soccer League, the league in both the United States and Canada, adopted a split season in 2013, the season is divided into a Spring Championship. The words Apertura and Clausura are used in most Latin American countries, thus, two championship titles are awarded per year in the first group of leagues, and only one in the second. Some Apertura and Clausura tournaments also have second stages to decide the winner, in leagues with 16 or more teams, each tournament has a single round-robin format. Relegations, if any, are done on an aggregate basis, in some leagues, the average points over the previous two or three seasons are used to determine relegation. Peru abolished its Apertura and Clausura format after the 2008 season, starting in 2009, the Ecuadorian championships were decided by a final between stage or group winners, maintaining the half-year tournament format. The Premier League of Belize, created in 2012 by the merger of two rival leagues, began a split season in 2012–13. The Opening Season takes place in the half of the calendar year. Like most Latin American leagues, it crowns two champions in each season. However, its format is different from that of most other leagues, being more similar to the system used by Major League Soccer in the United States. In the first split season, the leagues 12 teams were divided into two six-team zones, during the first half of the season, every team played a double round-robin within its zone, plus single games against four teams from the opposite zone, resulting in a 14-game schedule. The top two teams from each qualified for a playoff round, with the top team from each zone matched against the second-place team from the other zone in the two-legged semifinals. The semifinal winners advanced to a two-legged final, in the second half of the season, only eight of the initial 12 teams competed, all teams played a double round-robin in that half of the season, followed by a four-team knockout playoff. The number of participating in the top flight dropped to seven for the 2013–14 season. Each half of season will have the same format as the 2013 Closing Season. Brazilian clubs also participate in the state leagues from January to April, brazil also has, unlike most Latin American nations, a national cup. For most of its history the J. League in Japan had a system for its first division, although it was called 1st Stage

In 2000 again Motagua contribute to the National team offering 6 players to the Olympic National team, the last two league titles came in the 2006–07 Apertura and 2010–11 Clausura season after defeating neighbors Olimpia twice. In December 2007, they won their first international competition at the 2007 Copa Interclubes UNCAF, Motaguas traditional colour is dark blue representing the blue waters of the Motagua River.
